Restoration Requires Relationship

At Confident Ground, we’re committed to ecological restoration. We need many, many people coming together from multiple disciplines and walks of life in order to address the crisis we face at scale. We also need opportunities to slow down, get quiet, and experience connection with the places we love. Action becomes potent when it is steeped in receptivity and listening.

Our monthly Full Moon Sutra Walk near Corvallis, Oregon is free and open to the public. We practice quiet hiking, sensory awareness, and group recitation of a nearly 800-year-old prose poem that asks us to understand mountains and waters from a more-than-human perspective. While we utilize an ancient scripture as a gateway to cultivating more intimate experience with landscape, our intention isn’t to promote any particular religion. We do encourage relationship with the wider world as a way of life.
